I couldn't stand it anymore. I've been bragging for weeks about how much fun I had shooting these images of window washers atop the Century Plaza building. Well, you know the old adage "photos or it didn't happen?" Well here's you go.
On assignment for Abstract Magazine, Editor James Charisma and I spent the morning with the fearless folks of World Wide Window Cleaning. Yes, the same ones who were featured in Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs a while back. While most of us would be weary of going up there without an extra change of underwear, these guys hopped right on over the ledge like it was just another day at the office.
Although I didn't get to go down the side of the building with them, I was still strapped into a harness and given permission to shoot down the side of the building from the roof which was every bit as epic as it sounds. Here are some shots that didn't make it to print in our last issue.
